Apple Releases iPhone OS 3.1.2 Update

Apple’s just posted up iPhone OS 3.1.2, which purports to fix some of iPhone OS 3.1’s Bugs. The update was focused mainly on providing bug fixes for a few problems introduced in iPhone 3.1. Apple specifically calls out a problem where the iPhone may not wake from sleep. Once you update to 3.1.2, you’ll also be able to download a new carrier update.

The update also resolves an issue that could interrupt the cell network until the phone is restarted. A bug that caused a crash during video streaming has been addressed in the update. The update is available by plugging your iPhone into your computer and clicking on the update button in iTunes.

How did the update go for you?
